Baptist Health is currently looking for a Pediatric Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a Full-time, opportunity working Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and rotating every fourth weekend. This person will predominantly cover the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This pharmacist should be residency trained in pediatrics with at least 2 years of hospital experience.

As a Pharmacist you will be responsible for:
* Enters orders with great accuracy
* Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
* Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
* Answers questions for all health care professionals
* Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff
* Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services
* The major job responsibilities of this position are: pharmaceutical care to primarily neonatal and to a lesser extent pediatric patients, drug distribution support, clinical interventions, participation in investigational drug studies, teaching, and pharmacy representation on pediatric medical committees.
* The applicant is expected to participate in the teaching programs of Baptist Medical Center and Wolfson Children's Hospital, including the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program as well as educational activities such as precepting students affiliated with several Colleges of Pharmacy in the state of Florida.
