Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

The MRI Receptionist is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner, and pre-certifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Clinic Duties
  • Answer clinic phone calls
  • Schedule MRI and order labs
  • Prescreen patients
  • Obtain pre certification and benefits
  • Collection of copay
  • Posting clinic charges
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE:

None

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years of medical office experience preferred

SKILLS:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired.
