Job Summary and Qualifications
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Pharmacy in managing the pharmacy operations. This includes implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, inventory management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The Manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable.
What qualifications you will need:
* Licensure/Certification/Registration:
* Must have a valid active South Carolina registered pharmacist license.
* Must have:
o Residency certification for two years of training PLUS board certification with one or more years of suitable hospital experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
OR
o Residency certification (one year) PLUS board certification with three or more years of suitable hospital experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
* Education: PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
* Experience:
* Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities.
* Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal & external customer.
* Must be effective communicator (effective at both written and verbal communication)
* Hospital pharmacy experienced required (as mentioned above)
* Must be proficient in computer applications
