We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL Water Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL Water Truck Driver at Achen-Gardner Construction, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites.

Responsibilities:

* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report all maintenance or repair issues to maintenance personnel promptly
* Maintain equipment in proper operating condition and notify appropriate department of equipment service needs
* Move material as necessary in the performance of the job or as directed
* Maintain operator logs, mileage sheets, vehicle repair sheets, and records in accordance with company policy and departmental transportation regulations
* Perform general labor and other construction related duties as required
* Attend trainings and safety meetings
* Observe construction sites for obstacles that may compromise job safety and/or production
* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
* Store and clean machinery at its designated location and note any deficiencies
* Must comply with all laws dictated by ADOT / FMCSA
* Maintain roadways, aggregate plant area, and material with adequate amount of water to maintain dust control (Water Truck Driver)
* Knowledge with compaction standards/moisture levels and general jobsite safety (Water Truck Driver)
* Efficiently and safely operate both commercial and non-commercial vehicles and obey applicable laws at all times
* Willingness to operate any equipment as needed and perform hands on work as needed

Requirements:

* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker endorsements (Class A)
* Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
* Minimum 3 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry.
* Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
* Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
