This position will coordinate administrative services for the Parks and Recreation Hiring and Recruitment Team.

Recruiting and Hiring Services

* Serve as a liaison for hiring managers through all phases of the recruitment process and be able to train on department recruitment practices.
* Support the department in filling open positions by reviewing applications and facilitating the completion of necessary onboarding paperwork.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement aimed at reducing the time it takes to fill positions and attracting top talent.

Data and Records Management

* Develop and manage data tracking systems.
* Maintain a filing system in accordance with record retention requirements, prioritizing security and confidentiality.
* Manage a large volume of data entry in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), as well as other department developed systems.

General Administrative Support

* Address various questions and concerns regarding the recruitment process, providing excellent customer service both internally and externally.
* Communicate effectively with diverse populations, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely delivery both orally and in writing.
* Develop various documents such as correspondence, surveys, and survey analyses, including tabulations and evaluations.
* Cultivate strong professional relationships to bolster the success of recruitment, onboarding, and other department initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with the Employee Experience Team.
* Coordinate onboarding communication between candidates and supervisors, ensuring timely service delivery.
* Interpret and apply City and departmental policies while ensuring compliance with governing Federal laws.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Prior experience in human resources or administrative roles, recruitment and onboarding preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Human Resources Information Systems or Applicant Tracking Systems.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle sensitive information and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
* Effective communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, supervisors, and community agencies.
* Work independently, solve problems, use good judgment, and complete assignments on time.
* Effective problem-solving and investigative skills

Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less -Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor and could include assistance with any HR Bureau service, based on the current workloads and department needs
