The Banquet Bartender is responsible for the set-up operation and breakdown of event bars at The Inn at Villanova University. Job duties include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ability to interact with guests, co-workers, and supervisors in a positive and helpful manner, as well being able to work independently for extended periods of time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Set up and stock bar area along with preparing any alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages and condiments/supplies.
* Greet guests, take customer's orders and serve in a friendly, courteous manner. Maintain professionalism while assessing guest's needs and preferences and offer recommendations if needed.
* Maintain a clean and neat work and service area and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Basic knowledge of beverages and food items, and cleaning practices, RAMP certification required.
* 1 year food service experience.
* Oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision.
* Excellent guest service skills.
* Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
* Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.

Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

* Standing for extended periods of time.
* Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
