Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Responsibilities

• As a Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in our projects in various locations in California. 
• Test and ensure proper functioning of all components, including valves, alarms, and control systems
• Mechanical knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and repair system components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation
• Knowledge of plumbing principles for proper system connection
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
• Complete tasks in an organized, methodical, and clean manner
• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task 
• Follow all company policies, safety rules and quality standards 
• Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency 
• Assemble items as instructed 
• Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually or machine-assisted 

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as hands on Fire Sprinkler Fitter in the state of California.
• Proficiency in tube bending techniques for proper pipe fitting
• High School Diploma / GED - Required 
• Meticulous attention to detail to follow precise plans. Must know how to read plans and translate into actual plans and work. 
• Measuring skills to take accurate, precise measurements of materials to follow shop drawings
• Work with a variety of tools and equipment specifically tied to the pipe fitting requirements. 
• Must be able to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time
• Manual dexterity 
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Written and verbal communications in English 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
