Job Overview:

The Monitoring Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The technician delivers telemetry to in patient units and performs monitor connection/discharge, patient preparation, and teaching related to the monitor.

Qualifications:

Required:

* High school graduate or equivalent
* BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required

Preferred:

* Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course preferred

Scheduling Requirements

* 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
* Alternating Weekends and Holidays
* 5 Shifts/pay period
* Part Time

Pay Range:

$22.10 Hourly Rate
