Now Hiring - Radiographer

Location: Naples, FL - On-Site (700 Goodlette Rd)

Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a basic machine operator with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience.

Essential Duties for a Radiographer:

* Receives and follows directives and instructions from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and technical director to properly perform the position's functions.
* Calculates and selects proper technical factors such as voltage, current, exposure time, focal distance, etc., based on information such as patient age, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
* Schedules patient examinations according to physician's orders as directed.
* Explains proper preparation to patients prior to procedure.
* Develops mammography films and related dark room duties, in addition to understanding the CR system and equipment.

Requirements

Radiographer Job Requirements:

* Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent hospital-based program.
* Required: Current ARRT and State of Florida license.
* Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Experience Required: None
* Preferred: Radiography experience in an outpatient setting.
