Job Responsibilities

Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabus for courses taught. Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus. Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course. Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High school diploma from an accredited school. Must possess a current SC RN license or National Registered Paramedic.

Preferred Qualifications

The minimum as listed plus 1 year of working as a RN or Paramedic in a clinical setting, preferably with the cardiac emphasis at a hospital, or physicians' office; Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
