The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our St. Louis, MO manufacturing plant for a full-time first shift Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician Level II

Shift: First (6:00 AM -2:30 PM, Mon-Fri)

Annual Salary or Hourly Wage: $24-$29

Plant/Work Location: 2121 Walton, Rd. Overland, MO 63114

The Gund Company is in the business of engineered material manufacturing.

We are the industry leader in manufacturing and fabricating specialized engineered thermoplastic materials that provide a unique performance advantage. (think: Customized non-conductive parts for diverse industries). We manufacture and fabricate custom parts from drawings and sample parts (reverse engineering).

What are we looking for?

* 2 years + manufacturing equipment maintenance experience, required.
* Experience with preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting and repairing CNC Machines, required.
* Related Associate's Degree or Technical School Certificate in Industrial Maintenance, strongly preferred.
* Positive, service-minded, reliable, organized, proactive individual that is eager to solve problems.

This position reports to the maintenance/facilities manager.

What specifically will you be doing?

* Performing preventive maintenance on CNC machines and other production-related equipment (panel saws, CNC mills, routers, lathes)
* Trouble-shoot and repair CNC machines and other production-related equipment (panel saws, CNC mills, routers, lathes)
* Perform a variety of maintenance repair (building infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic) with limited direction and guidance.
* Experience with using CMMS Software a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of most shop environments, not climate controlled and subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

* Frequent exposure to fumes/dust particles; may require use of respirators or other types of PPE.
* May come in contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.
* Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
