Planner Scheduler

Daikin Applied is seeking a Planner Scheduler to support the planning and scheduling functions for manufacturing equipment and inventory requirements.

What you will do:

• Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions
• Prepare materials and supply purchase orders
• Analyze quotes and expedite deliveries and shipments
• Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials
• Provide data as requested to forecast estimate and schedule of goods in process as well as needs for future orders
• Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested
• Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material

Required Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• Experience working with Oracle
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel
