St. Croix Prep is looking to build the Proctor Team for Advanced Placement (AP) testing that is offered intermittently to Upper School students May 6-24 this year.

Ideal AP proctors exhibit the following characteristics:
*Proctors must be responsible, reliable, attentive adults who accept the security policies mandated by the AP Program.
*Proctors may not proctor or handle exam materials for an exam in the year in which a son or daughter is taking the exam. Proctors can assist with an exam their son or daughter is not taking.

AP proctoring has little to do with knowing exam subject content, but everything to do with providing a quiet and secure testing environment for our students for exams that vary from 2.5 to 5 hours in length.

Ideal proctors should enjoy the idea of sitting in a quiet room with 1-80 students and following a very clear script to administer an exam. We offer 15 exams over the course of the month. There are morning, afternoon, or daylong shifts available. The ideal candidate would be available to cover several shifts (but not all) over the course of May 6-24, in addition to a training meeting in late-April/early May. Pay is $18.00/hour.

Thank you for your consideration of this service to our students. Please contact college counselor Mathew Williams at mwilliams@stcroixprep.org with questions, or to express interest in becoming an AP proctor.
