Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced histology professional to serve as the Histotechnologist Lead for our night shift. As the Histotechnologist Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our laboratory operations. Primary duties include:

* Address and resolve technical and operational issues that arise during the night shift to maintain smooth laboratory operations.
* Observe and review staff technical performance, including embedding, sectioning, and staining quality, and provide necessary guidance and feedback for improvement.
* Assist with preparation for accreditation and regulatory inspections, including OSHA/CAP inspections, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
* Develop training documents for use in the laboratory section to facilitate the training and development of staff members.
* Provide oversight of the supply and/or reagent inventory management system to ensure adequate supplies are available for laboratory operations.

Salary Range: $64.20/hour - $79.78/hour

Job Qualifications

* Must possess Histotechnician HT(ASCP) or Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP) certification.
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).
* Must have a minimum of 5 years of histology experience.
