Job Description

The Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be expected to plan and organize all clinical aspects of the Nuclear Medicine department. This position requires frontline work and mentoring of staff in addition to special assignments from the Director. This position serves as a supervisor capable of administering, planning and coordinating clinical and administrative functions to ensure compliance to Sansum Clinic's standards of practice and the accomplishment of established goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Completion of course in Nuclear Medicine Programmatically accredited or approved by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current Nuclear Medicine certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification board (CNMT).
  • Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the State of California.
  • Three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. One year of supervisory experience including administrative duties.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Computer proficiency required.
