Job Summary:

Responsible for performing detailed repairs on furniture purchased by our customers.

Key Job Responsibilities:

* Determine the cost effective repair status.
* Perform detailed repairs on furniture to include wood, upholstery, and leather products.
* Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
* Communicate and document all customer concerns to the Repair Supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and well organized work area to include company vehicles.
* Maintain all tools and repair materials in proper condition.
* Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others.
* Work with other employees to attain company goals.
* Participate in focus group, safety, and other location meetings.
* Recommend other employees for commendation for achievement.
* Report violations of company policies and the misappropriation of company assets.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
* Basic knowledge of wood, fabric and leather repair.
* Ability to drive a company vehicle.
* Demonstrated interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to use the phone.
* Able to lift 50-100 pounds, frequently. Mostly standing, bending, and walking.
* Normally driving or riding in a company vehicle to a customer's home.
* Warehouse setting with semi-controlled heating and cooling or in a customer's home.
* Moderate level of stress.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1 year furniture repair experience.
