Technician - Compact Construction Equip I

Objective

This position will perform mechanical services on compact construction equipment. This includes but not limited to the troubleshooting, repairing, and inspection of equipment.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems (may also include repair and maintenance of small equipment such as zero turn mowers and/or small tractors).


* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned
* Maintains customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met
* Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner
* Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition
* Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in shop area
* Maintains equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment

Qualifications

Required:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 2 years or more of experience with Heavy Equipment or Compact Construction Equipment

Preferred

* Associates in related technical field (Diesel Technology)
* 4 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment and Compact Construction Equipment
