Job Description

WORK WHERE THE LONGHORNS PLAY

The University of Texas Club is looking for bartenders to work our Football Season for 2023. Position pays $18/hr and has the potential to earn tips.

Job Summary

Bartend in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting in setup and breakdown of the bar, assisting with inventory, processing Point Of Sale transactions (Oracle MICROS), and providing exceptional service to clients.

About You
  • A high school diploma, or equivalent preferred.
  • You are comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
  • Ability to lift over 25 lbs and to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Previous bartending and Food & Beverage experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of bar-related beverages, spirits, wine, and beer.
  • Working knowledge of the most common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks.
  • Alcohol and food safety awareness certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well.
