Slot Technician (Gaming Floor)

Description:

SUMMARY: To maintain, repair and place video slot machines and related gaming equipment throughout the casino. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Handle machine related customer issues promptly
* Install, move, test, repair and maintain slot and electronic/electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems
* Review, interpret and verify slot pay tables, settings and jackpots of pre-established amounts
* Troubleshoot and repair slots and associated player tracking system to minimize down time and maximize profitability of the gaming operation
* Independently and/or cooperatively perform advanced tasks including but not limited to RAM clears, setup and configuration of software, progressive system(s) hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
* Assist in the ongoing training and development of other team members
* Maintain security of keys and company assets
* Perform assigned tasks in compliance with applicable regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Skills

Required:

* Accurate and detail-oriented
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred:

* Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical/electronic test equipment
* Proven soldering skills

* Proven ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams and identify electronic components
