Atrium Health , one of the largest and most innovative health care systems in the nation, is recruiting a BC/BE Family Physician to join an established practice affiliated with our partner Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC. Advanced Family Care offers complete, cohesive care for men, women and children. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in chronic diseases but likes to see children as well. * Pre-Employment/School/Sports Physicals
* Annual Physicals
* Pediatric Care
* Wellness Exams

* Blood Pressure Checks
* Illness/Injury Diagnosis, Treatment & Referrals

Our practice offers

* Work Schedule: Mon-Tue - 8a-6p |Wed- Thu 8a-5p| F - 8a-2p
* Avg Daily Patient Volume: 15-20/day
* Join 2 Physicians & 1 APP
* Shared Call Coverage: 7 days of Pediatric call/month, Ave census: 0-4 inpatients
* Busy, well established, very stable practice

Whiteville, NC, the county seat of Columbus County, is 45 minutes from Wilmington, NC and N. Myrtle Beach, SC allowing quick and easy access to the beautiful Carolina coast and lies along several major thoroughfares. Whiteville has a vibrant downtown, home to unique shops and restaurants. The active downtown development committee provides support to downtown businesses and events. Conveniently located near Lake Waccamaw, the largest natural lake between New York and Florida, and Lake Waccamaw State Park, it's easy and affordable to explore the ecologically diverse area and enjoy an active, very affordable lifestyle While Whiteville is more rural, it is certainly not isolated.
