Job Title: Non-CDL Driver

Job Summary:

This position is primary responsible for transferring stock from one location to another. Responsible for pick-up and deliver of product. A valid Washington State driver's license is required for this position. The drivers will have an assigned route, but will also have other pick-ups/deliveries to make each day. The shipping clerk will coordinate transfers on a daily basis. This includes but is not limited to the following duties.

Duties:

1. The proper paperwork must be signed and forwarded to the appropriate personnel.

2. Drivers are required to maintain the equipment on an ongoing basis.

3. Drivers are to alert Warehouse Manager whenever equipment needs repair or when any supplies are needed.

4. Drivers will follow instructions and take directions from the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Leads and Shipping Clerk, yet have insight to predict and resolve problems on their own.

5. To be responsible for maintaining a courteous manner around customers and other employees is a must.

6. The ability to follow all procedures as defined by the company and completes all paperwork in a timely manner.

7. Must meet safety and attendance policies.

Working Conditions:

Most of the driver's day will be spent traveling on the road making pick-ups/deliveries. A professional appearance is required, which includes a shirt that identifies you as an employee, due to relations with customers.

Abilities Required:

Operational and Mechanical aptitude.

Follow work orders, written and verbal.

Able to listen to and follow verbal instructions.

Communication skills, written and verbal.

The ability to diagnose and solve problems relating to the job.

Interact professionally with people of all levels in and outside the company.

Accept supervision willingly.

Previous driving experience as well as operating forklifts, pallet jacks and picking

equipment is preferred.

Flexibility with hours, working overtime when needed, if changes within the

business is required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Manual dexterity.

Normal color vision or color vision correctable to 20/20.

Regular or correctable hearing abilities.

Additional Requirements:

Being a TEAM PLAYER is essential, putting the customer first, doing a quality job. Working hard and having an overall caring attitude and a willing desire to succeed is a must.
