Description
Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Full time Technical Aide to join the team in the Deptford office location. This position will support the Mammography, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Dexa departments. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice

The Technical Aide is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Prepares charts and registers patients;
- Takes patient history and processes paperwork;
- Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere;
- Assists the technologist with patient care;
- Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions;
- Safely enters and completes work responsibilities within the MRI area;
- Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The full time, 40 hour per week position is based in the Deptford office location.
The work schedule is as follows:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Schedules and locations are subject to change based on department needs.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework a plus. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required, and candidates must be willing to obtain within first thirty (30) days of employment. Candidates must be willing and able to work around MRI and CT equipment. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational skills, has well developed customer service skills and maintains patient privacy at all times. Candidates must maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work at all times and must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, including computers. Previous radiology practice experience a plus. Candidates should be flexible to work varying shift times and travel to other office locations if needed.
