Job Description
1. Supervise and monitor time and attendance of direct reports.
2. Prepare performance appraisals of direct reports.
3. Delegate task to direct reports, and subordinate quality staff as needed for task completion.
4. Responsible for survey readiness from external stakeholders for the department of psychiatry e.g. Joint Commission, CMS, OMH, OASAS, etc.
5. Responsible for internal policy tracking, completion and distribution.
6. Responsible for managing, identifying, monitoring, updating and distributing plans of corrections.
7. Partner with Director Psychiatry/Quality to supervise/investigate events, including but no limited to Voice Reports and incidents requiring special review. Prepare reports of investigate results. Update IRC agendas and special review Stem reports as needed.
8. Participate in IRC, special reviews and RCAs in the department of Psychiatry.
9. Supervise and ensure timely entry into electronic databases e.g. NIMRS, internal quality share drives, NYS Justice Center database etc.
10. Represent psychiatry/ quality in meetings/presentations in partnership with the Director Psychiatry/Quality.
11. Serve as security manager for mental health provider data exchange (MHPD) providing access & amendment to OMH programs.
12. Server as administrator for Health Commerce System (HCS) operated by the NYS Dept. of Health. Establish access to authorized staff.
13. Perform other task delegated by the Director Psychiatry/Quality.
14. Perform duties of the Director Psychiatry/Quality during periods of absence of when delegate by the Director Psychiatry/Quality to perform such duties.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,
2. Six years of full-time, paid experience of progressively responsible level in hospital administration with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services; or,
3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital or Health Administration, Health Care Planning, Public Health, Administrative Medicine, Business Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,
4. Five years of full-time, paid experience as indicated in (2); or,
5. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
