Sigma Healthcare staffing is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Cardiac for our client's medical center in Murfreesboro, TN.

Shift : 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description:
  • We are looking for self-motivated Registered Nurse with Cardiac , Stepdown, or ICU experience in our new unit.
Responsibilities:
  • Works under the supervision of the Nurse manager and the Director and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients.
  • The RN utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to create a care plan for each patient based on physiological, psychosocial and cultural diversity.
  • Responsible for supervising and delegating non-professional personnel working directly with him/her to ensure optimum patient care.
  • Must demonstrate competence in dealing with age related needs of the specific patient populations served in the Critical Care/ units/departments.
  • Works under the direction of leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of services or clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards of excellence established by our Health system and facility goals and strategic plans.
Certification Needed:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Current and valid state TN license required.
  • Registered Nurse with Cardiac Telemetry, Stepdown, or ICU experience required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test.
