By joining the team at Pioneer Prairie, MN we are pleased to offer you a sign-on bonus. This bonus is reflecting our commitment to fostering a collaborative and rewarding relationship. This is a one-time payout of $2,500 and will be subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. If you have Basic Safety Training, Basic Technical Training and Advanced Rescue Training Global Wind Organization (GWO) certifications, we will also offer you an additional $2,500 bonus as a token of your skills and expertise that you bring to Vestas.
In addition, relocation assistance may be available.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this intermediate- level position, you'll use your skills and training to perform maintenance and/ or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will be provided with defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, verbal/ written instructions, but you may provide mentorship to entry-level technicians. During a typical day, you may be working 250 feet above the ground, or working in small spaces to perform maintenance and repairs. You'll be outside, and sometimes the weather isn't great. You'll be climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts to complete your work. Teamwork is a priority here, and our reputation for professionalism, safety and attention to detail are important to our customers. We also encourage recommendations to improve the safety and quality of our work.

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset

✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial background
