Job Description

SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and verified Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York and academic health System affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The Hospital has two newly renovated cardiac catheterization labs with 24/7 coverage for STEMI and urgent cases, in addition to making major investments in non-invasive technologies. The Division of Cardiology at SBH Health System is looking for a full-time highly motivated BE/BC non-invasive Cardiologist to join our growing Division.

The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical, teaching and communication skills. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, noninvasive cardiology testing, the supervision and teaching of in-house staff (residents and fellows) and medical students, and active participation in Departmental activities.

Requirements

Candidates must have a current New York State license to practice and must be board certified or board eligible in Cardiology. Additional certifications including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, are required. Spanish speakers are highly desirable.
