Responsibilities

* Conduct a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system in a safe and therapeutically effective manner.
* Administer and document medication in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
* Correctly administer Cardiopulmonary Care Services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
* Precept employees, new orients, and students.
* Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiates corrective intervention as indicated.
* Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* High School Graduate or Equivalent and completion of a respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association.
* Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.


* Idaho Licensed Respiratory Therapist licensure
* Current BLS certification required.


* Obtain ACLS and NRP within six months of hire and maintain as current



Preferred Job Requirements:

* PALS certification
