FULL-TIME DISPATCHER/SCHEDULER NEEDED
South Central Transit is now accepting applications for a FULL-TIME DISPATCHER/SCHEDULER for our Centralia location.
At SCT, our dispatchers/schedulers are a reflection of our organization's commitment to safety and customer service.
This position is Monday-Friday with a varying shift schedule.
All dispatchers/schedulers are required to complete a pre-employment drug screen as well as participate in drug and alcohol testing program. SCT is a drug free workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Qualifications
* High School diploma/GED/other related experience
* Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills of 40 wpm
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Good judgement and decision making
Responsibilities
* Responsible for supporting daily and future transportation operations
* Relaying information in a fast-paced environment
* Overseeing the routes and ensuring on-time performance
* Assigning drivers and buses to routes
* Monitoring drivers' locations and trips performed
* Handling heavy incoming call volume

* Starting wage of $17 per hour with a 50 cent increase upon completion of a 90 day probationary period
