They are actively looking for a highly motivated and personable individual to join their team as an Audiology Technician.

This role is integral to ensuring the ongoing care and satisfaction of patients who have been fitted with hearing aids.

As an Audiology Technician, you will work in the designated service center, providing essential support to patients by performing hearing aid cleaning and checks, troubleshooting, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative tasks related to hearing aid maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and checks of hearing aids for patients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to hearing aids, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients post-fitting, addressing their concerns and providing support.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments with patients for any hearing aid-related issues.
  • Utilize phone technology expertise to assist in pairing hearing aid devices
  • Address recall issues promptly and efficiently, coordinating with the audiologist and manufacturer as necessary.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or patient care role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with hearing aids and basic troubleshooting techniques preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to patients.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in audiology.
