Danberry at Inverness is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.

This is a FULL TIME position and the hourly rate is $22 per hour. This position also is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus. You must be able to work Tuesday-Saturday from 8am-4:30pm (or close to these hours).

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

* Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
* Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.
* Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
* Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
* Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
* Assist, during winter, with snow removal efforts as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where appropriate.
* Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
* Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
* Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
* WHEN QUALIFIED, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
* Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
* Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

* High School diploma or equivalent in training, education and experience
* Minimum one year experience in building maintenance
* One year or more experience in apartment and/or healthcare community maintenance
