Location: Camby, IN, 46113

 

Direct Support Professional/ Home Coordinator 

We are looking for a Full-Time, Camby, Indiana 46113

Shift and Shift hours: 7 am- 3 pm, must have a valid license

Pay Starting at: $15.25

 

Job Summary:

The Home Coordinator (HC) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential home for individuals with developmental disabilities. The HC will ensure that the home is clean, safe, and comfortable for the residents and that their needs are being met. The HC will also supervise and train staff members, manage schedules, and maintain records.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operations of the residential home
* Ensure that the home is clean, safe, and comfortable for the residents
* Supervise and train staff members
* Manage schedules and maintain records
* Ensure that all residents receive appropriate care and support
* Communicate with families, guardians, and other stakeholders as needed
* Ensure that all staff members adhere to policies and procedures
* Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
* Monitor and report on the progress of residents
* Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available

Qualifications:

* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
* Supervisory experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
* Great communication skills.
* Knowledge of the HCS and/or ICF-IID programs is preferred.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
* Ability to perform all functions as stated in the Home Coordinator job description.
* Ability to operate various computer systems, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, email, Ultipro, and TMP.

Education and/or Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred 
* Associate degree in any field preferred. 
* Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Valid Indiana Driver's license, good driving record, and valid insurance on any personal vehicle.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
