Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse - Somerset - Per-Diem - Hourly rate $36.00 - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate environment in a state-of-the-art-community - subsidized childcare onsite - free meal with every shift worked - 4 shifts per month as needed including weekends - The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing high quality nursing care to residents according to their individual needs, including medication supervision, health monitoring, assessing physical and mental capacity and developing individualized care plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New Jersey.
  • Must possess current AHA CPR Certificate; IV Certification, preferred
  • Experience in a long-term care setting, preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language
  • Flu vaccination required or receive an exemption prior to employment.
  • Covid-19 vaccination documentation will be requested for reporting purposes.

Parker at Somerset post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence
Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home, located on 10 beautifully wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Eden Alternative® registered home , we are well-known for the compassionate, quality long-term nursing care provided to elders in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with round-the-clock skilled and sub-acute nursing services.
