ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Location: Greensboro, NC

OVERVIEW

Davenport is seeking a hard-working and business minded professional to join its Greensboro Retail Sales team. This full-time, exempt position will join and help support a team of Financial Advisors while fostering a positive relationship between clients and the firm.

An ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the financial services industry, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Develop and execute business strategies to attract, acquire and maintain client relationships
* Listen to client financial needs, goals, time horizon, objectives and risk profile and collect client data
* Develop, recommend and implement appropriate investment strategies for clients
* Monitor progress of client strategies and recommend needed changes under various market conditions as well as when client goals and life events call for modification
* Possess a thorough understanding, and continuing education, of a broad spectrum of both existing and new investment products and strategies
* Conduct business within the confines of legal and regulatory guidelines at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

* College Degree and/or related industry experience
* Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience
* Series 7 and 66 Licensed, or must obtain within six months from date of hire
* Extremely well-organized, detail oriented and accurate; must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
* Highly motivated with excellent communication and customer service skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Ability to learn and master computer programs that house customer data
* Ability to understand and adhere to industry rules and regulations
* Professional demeanor
