Responsibilities:

  • Provides efficient and effective direct care to patients that demonstrates excellent customer service, confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness in accordance with Renfrew's policies and procedures in order to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervises patients in special observations as assigned and documents observation i.e. Dayroom, Escorts and Bathroom Breaks.
  • Obtain trays for bed rest and dayroom patients.
  • Observes patients on bed rest and as assigned calculates menus and administers supplements as prescribed.
  • Answers Team Center door and communicates patient requests to nursing.
  • Locates patients for staff.
  • Completes paperwork as assigned.
  • This position requires providing service to Adults and Adolescents in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Requirements:

  • BA required in Psychology, Social Work or similar field or 5 years experience in related field.

Coverage Needed:

  • Full-time - 30-40 hours
  • Days and weekend shifts
