We are looking for an experienced, fully licensed Mammography Tech in the Santa Monica area for a full time position. Qualified candidate does not require constant supervision of technical details. Must be able to perform both Mammography and XRAY procedures.

Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required. Candidate must have open availability and reliable transportation.

DUTIES:

  • Perform high quality mammography.
  • Monitor patient's wellbeing during exam; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly taking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • AutomatedBreastUltrasound - ABUS (We Train)
  • Weekend availability

SCHEDULE:

  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Requirements

We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic and mammography exams and procedures with high-quality results. Mammography Technologist applicants must also possess:

  • AART(M)certification and at least 2+ years of recent mammography work experience.
  • CA State Licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Mammography
  • CPR Certification
  • Great communication skills

Salary Description

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
