The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.

Job Summary

The Business System Analyst will participate in the design, development and on-going production support of Cardiovascular information systems which integrates throughout the hospital enterprise to provide business solutions to customers, and will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department's service delivery.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health/Computer Science or related field or equivalent analytical experience required.

Experience

* Experience in Healthcare and communication with providers strongly preferred
* Significant understanding of relevant software and ability to operate computer programs for analytical purposes
* Ability to collect and analyze healthcare data and clearly communicate the results to providers
* Experience with training and staff/user development
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Experience with supporting workflow integration

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

* Ability to travel and on call responsibilities as required
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
* Ability to independently plan, organize, develop prioritize and execute decisions
* Presents as detail oriented with strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving.
* Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation required
