Job Summary:

Learning Technologies Technicians provide basic hardware/software support for the classroom technology and the video conferencing needs of the seminary. This is a 18-28 hours per week position.

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities

* Interface with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis to solve technical issues


* Work individually and on a team environment to complete tickets and meet end user needs in a timely manner


* Support end users by answering telephone calls, online ticket requests, and walk-ins


* Provide training in classroom technology for faculty and students in both physical and virtual environments


* Other support duties as assigned


* Regular on the job attendance and timeliness


* Perform other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibility

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications / Education:

* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred


* CompTIA A+ certification is a plus

* This position does not involve supervision of other persons


* Reports to the Assistant Director of Learning Technologies
