Girls' Softball Coaching Position

The Softball Coach will work together with a co-coach by providing instruction and leadership during tryouts, practices and games.

Time Requirements:
  • 2 tryout days (3-5pm)
  • Mon through Thursday - Practices (3-5pm) and games (3-6:15 pm) beginning 8/15 thru 10/3.

TRYOUTS:
  • There will be two days of tryouts beginning on or near August 15, 2024. There will be a first cut and a select number of student-athletes will be invited back for the final tryout day.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Complete the Concussion Training outlined by the IESA and the Conference before the season begins.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work together with the head coach before, during and after the season to ensure the team is prepared.
  • Provide instruction and leadership during tryouts, practices and games.
  • Prepare Schedules & Team Packets
  • Practice plans
  • Game strategies
  • Uniform distribution and collection
