Schedule: PRN as needed

As a Mammography Tech, at South Baldwin, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements:

* ARRT Registered Technologist
* Subspecialty in Mammography
* Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
* Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in a clinical setting

About the Job:

* Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures
* Obtains patient history.
* Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
* Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures.
* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
* Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
