Via Sophia by the Sea is seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience.

Essential Job Functions:

* Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Must know how to prioritize, delegate and respond in a timely fashion
* Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
* Have the ability to speak candidly and knowledgeably about KRC programming and offerings
* Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
* Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
* Must continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
* Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest's needs
* Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints
* Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
* Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
* Ensure that each and every customer is served efficiently and effectively
* Must be a good example while working alongside team members
* Be able to communicate restaurant and hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest

Additional Responsibilities:

* Any other duties assigned by the manager
* Must be able to be on feet for the entire length of the shift
* Must be able to lift 50lbs
