Responsibilities

Assume lead role in various clinical research projects.

* Collaborate to design, fund, conduct, evaluate and report on research projects.
* Secure grants and funding for research and is responsible for controlling budgets.
* Ensure research activities comply with applicable ethical, legal, regulatory and funding requirements.
* Serve in a mentorship, supervisory and/or consultative capacity to students and staff.
* Maintain current knowledge of healthcare research-related issues, trends and scientific developments.

Requirements

Education:

* High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences

Master's degree is strongly preferred. Doctoral degree a plus AND Two (2) years of experience conducting independent applied research, to include survey design, database design and management, and successful grant writing and manuscript preparation (will consider significant research experience during graduate degree program).
