Job description

The company is currently hiring a Maintenance Tech.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform daily inspection of equipment.
* Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
* Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Diagnostic skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
* Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
* Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
* Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
* Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
* Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
* Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
* Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
* All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school or equivalent preferred
* 1-3 years of related experience preferred
* General knowledge of plumbing, electric, and/or HVAC preferred
* Must be dependable and available to work within the hotel based on business needs
