Job Description

Quality MRB Technician - 1st shift

Title: Quality Technician (MRB)

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Location: Mentor

Shift: 1st

Requirements:

* Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
* Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
* Have strong sense of urgency with the ability to work independently.
* Able to work flexible hours.

Work Experience:

* Minimum of 1 year dimensional, visual or NDT inspection experience. Dimensional or visual experience preferred.

Responsibility: The Quality Control Technician will assist in the development of quality systems with the customer and manufacturing organization to assure delivery of quality castings.

Specific Duties:

* Assist Quality Engineer in the review of customer drawings, specifications, etc., to customer quality requirements.
* Perform audits to monitor product quality.
* Write Quality Engineering Instructions and implement quality systems.
* Auditing shipments by visually auditing castings and auditing paperwork.
* Assist in the preparation of paperwork for shipments.
* Assist in other duties as assigned by supervision.
* Assist in processing and accounting of non-conformance, scrap, and customer return material.
* Assist in manufacturing operations as needed.
* Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
