Responsibilities

* Provide assistance to the anesthesia department in preparing anesthesia machines for use, stocking of all areas that require anesthesia services, ordering supplies, and maintaining stocks.
* Responsible for the rapid turnover of cases that require anesthesia services and are held to the spaulding classification system for cleaning of machines, carts and medical devices or equipment.
* Assist in trauma situations when needed and performs under the direction of the anesthesia provider and subject to verification in accordance with state and federal law.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

* Technical/Vocational degree
* One (1) year previous medical experience
