Commercial Superintendent

Employbridge Search Group has a client in King of Russia, PA that is looking for a Superintendent to join their team This company is growing year over year, offering room for growth and competitive salary/benefits
Job Duties

• Interfacing with customer on a regular basis
• Supervising in the field to ensure that cost, quality, safety and scheduling are met
• Listen to the customer and be sure to address their key concerns for the project
• Develop and maintain an excellent relationship to representatives
• Coordinate with any other contracts that the Customer has contracted with
• Develop and maintain relationship with A/E representatives
• Monitor and enforce Safety Program
• Coordinate Subcontractor’s activities and schedules
• Develop the site specific safety plans and emergency action plans
• Participate in monthly safety trainings, as well as annual First Aid and CPR training
• Prepare weekly jobsite safety inspection reports and follow up on open items with applicable subcontractor
• Enforce Subcontractor’s responsibility for safety, job site cleanup, and debris removal
• Ensure Best Management Practices are installed and functioning properly
• Monitor and supervisor the work at the site daily for compliance with the contract documents, shop drawings and submittals
• Review/inspect material deliveries by utilizing approved shop drawings
• For any change request for a Subcontractor, review the contract documents to make sure the scope is not included in the documents and review the contract agreements to make sure the scope is not included in their contract agreement
• Attend various meetings as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive field construction management
• OSHA 30 hour certification
• Knowledge of al aspects of construction
• Good organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage a site
• Ability to recognize and meet deadlines
• Supervisory and management skills
• Capable of utilizing Microsoft Office
