POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Director of Research, serves as a clinical research coordinator managing and coordinating clinical trials and research studies. Will work as a member of a clinical team to handle multiple studies in various settings within the organization. Is responsible for project implementation, consenting research subjects, data collection and oversight of adult research volunteers. Duties include coordinating volunteer project schedules and appointments, assisting principal investigators in the conduct of research through recruitment, education and monitoring of patients involved in clinical trials and other research studies. Collects research patient data, completes case report forms and does data entry as necessary. Collaborates with research partners and study team as needed. Reviews protocols and attends in-service presentation for new protocols. Participates in quality management and patient safety practices. Works on special projects as assigned by Principal Investigator (PI), study coordinator or Director of Research.

* High School Diploma
* Bachelor's Degree in Biological Life Science (Preferred)
* 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
* Medical Assistant Training Certificate (Preferred)

Position Pay Range: $24.76 - $40.98 per hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
