Existing knowledge or deep interest in acquiring training in the relationship between behavioral health and general health issues such as hypertension, and diabetes, is required. The goal is to improve overall health and quality of life of patients with a variety of physical, emotional, and behavioral needs. The IBHP work also includes providing curbside consultations to healthcare providers and providing recommendations to the care team to enhance the patient's care plan.
