Vascular Technologist needed for Major Hospital in Downtown Brooklyn . 1199 Benefits. Full time Perm Role. Pays 71k-95K based on experience.
MUST be ARDMS Certifed. MUST PASS ALL BACKGROUND/ MEDICAL & DRUG SCREEN
Prepares for and performs non-invasive vascular testing procedures as specified in department protocols. Assists in clerical and supervisory responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient and professional laboratory operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an AMA approved diagnostic medical vascular program.
- Prior hospital or off-site medical practice experience -- HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Ability to perform independent studies bedside.
- Demonstrates knowledge of sterile techniques
- Must be knowledgeable and highly experienced at performing non-invasive vascular testing procedures.
- Skilled in providing instructions to others in the field.
