Job Description Summary:

The Shift Supervisor supervises and manages the activities of Respiratory Care Therapists and Technicians, coordinates respiratory services with nursing units and physicians, and is responsible for productivity and quality control reviews He/She assists with assessment of patient's respiratory care needs in conjunction with the patient care evaluation and categorization systems and supervises activities of affiliating respiratory care students. This position also assists with department computer operations and performs miscellaneous other duties, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Required)NBRC - National Board of Respiratory Care - The National Board for Respiratory CareThe National Board for Respiratory CareThe National Board for Respiratory Care, RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist - American Association for Respiratory CareAmerican Association for Respiratory CareAmerican Association for Respiratory Care

Equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related Experience and or training; or Equivalent combination of and Experience . NBRC Registry; Must hold and maintain Ohio License. Knowledge of Respiratory Care technology and strong background in Respiratory Care. 3 yrs. clinical Experience and knowledge. Projected learning period (managerial) is one year.
