School Nurse - Join Our Team

Does caring for the well-being of children while fostering a healthy school environment excite you?

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to join our vibrant school community As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff.

Responsibilities:

* Provide students with first aid and basic healthcare services in case of injuries or illnesses.
* Implement Individualized Health Care Plans (IHCPs) for students with chronic health conditions.
* Conduct routine health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and manage immunization records.
* Educate students and staff on healthy habits, hygiene practices, and disease prevention.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to address student health needs and concerns.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment in the health office.
* Manage confidential student medical information according to HIPAA regulations.
* Stay up-to-date on current health trends and best practices in school nursing.

Qualifications:

* Valid state nurse license.
* Experience in school nursing or a related pediatric healthcare setting (preferred).
* Strong assessment and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
* Compassionate and patient demeanor.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
